What a successful first week at The Lost Colony! More than 1,000 people attended each night of Dare Nights, helping provide supplies and support for the Roanoke Island Food Pantry and Beach Food Pantry through the power of community and live theatre. From the generosity of our audiences to the unforgettable moments on stage, opening week reminded us exactly why this tradition continues year after year. And the response has been incredible. Reviews from our first week have highlighted the breathtaking waterfront setting, powerful performances, moving storytelling, and the magic of experiencing history under the stars. 🌅

Don't miss The Lost Colony’s Dare Nights, starting tonight, June 4! 🪶

Dare Nights take place on June 4-5, 2026, with June 4th supporting The Roanoke Island Food Pantry and June 5th supporting The Beach Food Pantry.

Dare Nights are a general admission performance open to the public at a reduced price. Full-time residents of Dare, Currituck, Hyde, and Tyrrell Counties are admitted with a donation of 3 non-perishable items per person for local food pantries. ID will be required.
