Family-friendly Shrimping and Crabbing Charters
Risky Business offers 3-hour shrimping and crabbing charters in the early morning, mid-morning, and early afternoon, delivering a fun, hands-on experience for all ages. Led by local Captain Wesley Peele and his mate, guests learn how to pull crab pots and trawl for shrimp just like Outer Banks commercial fishermen, with all legal catch yours to keep for dinner. We supply everything you need, including the required license, equipment and bait, coolers and ice for your catch, life preservers, and all necessary safety gear. The trip also includes wildlife spotting, including dolphins and coastal birds, while cruising the Roanoke and Croatan Sounds. Departing from Shallowbag Bay Marina in Manteo, just 5 minutes from Nags Head, our spacious 45-foot boat, Risky Business, provides a safe, comfortable, and engaging experience for families and small groups.
