Olives A Greek Kitchen brings the flavors and foods of Greece to the Manteo and the northern Outer Banks. The owners, established restaurateurs from New York, offer authentic dishes like tzatziki, hummus, dolmades, saganaki, spanakopita, souvlaki, moussaka, baklava and more. If you're not sure what all that is, don't worry; the menu explains it all very well, and there are hybrid dishes that combine Greek flavors with more familiar foods (Greek Tacos, anyone?). The menu features appetizers, gyros, entrees, pizzas, sides, kids' options and desserts. Seafood, chicken, beef and vegetarian options are available. Be sure to save room for the homemade desserts. This restaurant is in the Waterfront Shops, one flight up from street level, and offers views of Shallowbag Bay and the downtown Manteo waterfront.
