The Burrus House Inn is a newly renovated bed and breakfast-style inn for family vacations, couples' retreats, weddings and other special events needing a beautiful setting. Every room boasts views of Shallowbag Bay. The spacious main building is a classic Outer Banks beach house that has been remodeled and decorated to inspire the light and inviting mood. The Burrus House Inn's 12 suites each have their own bedroom with a king or queen size bed, some with separate sitting room, kitchenette, bath and private deck. The common areas give guests places to meet and mingle with their fellow travelers, or to simply kick back in a rocker and watch the boats pass by. As of the summer of 2019, the inn includes a pool at the front lawn and water sports, including kayak and paddle board rentals that can launch from the Inn’s lagoon.
