Dare County Arts is now accepting applications for North Carolina CARES for Arts grants through
November 9, 2020. The North Carolina General Assembly designated $9.4 million federal CARES Act funds for arts councils
and arts organizations to mitigate business disruptions caused by COVID-19.
International recording artist Mojo Collins and award-winning bluegrass band Nu-Blu will be performing in two Outer Banks Veterans Week events, which will be featured in Dare County Arts Council’s November Courthouse Sessions.

Dare County Arts Council is now seeking entries for the 43rd Frank Stick Memorial Art Show, which will open on Saturday, January 30, 2021. “Although things will be a bit different for the 2021 Frank Stick Memorial Art Show, we are really happy that we are still able to host this special exhibit.
Expressions of the Heart opens to the public January 30th and will be on display for the month of February. The purpose of the exhibit is to create awareness for the Arts Council’s free arts education opportunities available to residents of Eastern North Carolina who have been impacted by cancer.
