Crabber, restaurateur and wine aficionado, Vicki Basnight is an Outer Banks icon known for her strong commitment to serving local seafood and produce. Her latest venture is Vicki B's, a restaurant, bar, market and outdoor event venue in a former Downtown Manteo home. The lunch menu features cold plates, salads, a smashburger, meat pie, soups and more, while dinner offerings range from appetizers and salads to a variety of entrees like lasagna to bipimbap to filet mignon. Be sure to save room for homemade dessert. Lunch is served weekdays except Wednesday, and dinner is served nightly except Wednesday and Sunday. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10 a.m. The bar offers creative seasonal cocktails along with wine and beer. Grab & Go sandwiches, wraps and bites are perfect for picking up a quick meal to eat at the bar or for a Downtown picnic. Takeout is available, and reservations are accepted.
