So many on our boat want to know who is Capt Johnny? Well this was him on the very same piece of water we are docked at now, Doughs Creek. He was my Great Grandfather. His love of the water and our area has lived here for many generations.

Many of you that have been with us have passed by or we have visited Wanchese Harbor and you heard a brief summary of this Village on the south end of Roanoke Island.nHard to believe that not so long ago it was the largest village in Dare County. Times have changed.
